The CARES Act and Consolidated Appropriations Act Incentives for Charitable Giving
The 2020 Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act encourages Americans to support nonprofits in these challenging times. The Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) extended these benefits through 2021.
How does it affect you?
You can now deduct up to $300 in total charitable contributions from your 2021 taxes, 即使你没有逐条列出你的扣除项目.
If you itemize deductions, the cap on annual contributions has been raised from 60 to 100 percent of your Adjusted Gross Income.
这意味着你可以付出更多, tax-free, 给未来世代和其他你喜欢的慈善机构. Please contact our Development Team if you have questions about giving to Future Generations at firstname.lastname@example.org or +1 (304) 358–2000
